In Alberta, like many other provinces in Canada, you cannot have more than 30 grams of weed on you. It goes without saying that you have to be above 18 for this as well. Additionally, the law that says only 30 grams of weed can be carried isn’t limited to just the regular form of weed. It also applies to extracts, edibles, topicals, etc. Basically, as long as you’re in public, don’t carry too much weed with you.
Even if you’re inside your car, ensure that you store your weed properly. For example, your weed should be kept inside a sealed bag to prevent the smell from getting out. You needn’t worry too much about that, though. If you buy from us, we’ll handle that part for you. Besides being sealed, your weed should be well away from the reach of other occupants of the car, especially if they’re kids.
As a young person below 18, you’re not allowed to carry weed at all. If you have any on you below five grams. You won’t be charged criminally because that’ll impact you negatively in more ways than one. However, you will have your cannabis seized, your parents notified and you will have to suffer penalties that underage tobacco carriers suffer.
