In most parts of Canada, you aren’t allowed to smoke weed in public areas. This is largely because of the public health concerns associated with the act. For example, when an athlete consumes second-hand smoke from your cannabis, it could affect their performance.
There’s also a chance that it could be detected in their bloodstream and they could get in some trouble. Additionally, there could be kids there and it simply isn’t appropriate to smoke around minors.
So, if you want to smoke or vape your cannabis and you really want to enjoy it without breaking the law, it’s best to do it in the comfort of your home. At the very least, you should do it on private property where it is allowed. This means no smoking in hospitals, parks, school grounds, restaurants, etc.
Oh, you also should not smoke in your car while operating it, buddy. It’s private property but smoking and driving have as much friendliness to each other as hot oil and water.
