The 5 Best Medical Cannabis Strains for Anxiety in 2021

Anxiety is one of the most common mental health disorders that affect Canadians, with approximately 5% of Canadians struggling with some form of mild to severe anxiety disorder. Many more Canadians struggle with some form of anxiety on a less regular basis.

If you’re not too keen on taking anti-anxiety medications, you can consider smoking medical cannabis strains for anxiety and stress. Marijuana not only relieves anxiety, but can also help ease panic attacks. Studies show that this treatment opinion can be quite effective at alleviating symptoms of anxiety with no adverse effects attached.

Some people are worried that taking anti-anxiety medications can lead to some form of substance abuse or adverse side effects.

What the Marijuana Studies Show

There has been quite a few research studies that have looked at using marijuana in anxiety treatments. They have found that this is a viable treatment option, provided that the right weed strain is chosen. There are only a few recommended medical cannabis strains for anxiety.

The reason for this is that the CBD:THC ratio in the weed can greatly affect the type of effects that pot smokers may get. It’s also important to note that each individual will also react to tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol (CBD) in different ways. Both compounds are natural cannabinoids found in ganja.

Most studies have found that cannabidiol (CBD) has anxiety-reducing properties, and can be used to treat anxiety-related disorders. However, some seasoned smokers claim that they’ve found that THC can help them as well despite the fact that most research finds that it is more likely to provoke anxious moods. A combination of THC and CBD may be more effective in these cases than CBD alone.

The THC:CBD ratio is not the only factor that needs to be taken into account. The terpene and cannabinoid profile of the weed can also play a huge role on its ability to alleviate anxiety and stress.

Medical Marijuana Strains that Have Worked for People with Anxiety

Finding strains that have high CBD can be difficult, which is why many people take CBD oil instead. With that said, some there have been some medical cannabis strains for anxiety that have been highly recommended by people with anxiety. They’ve tried these strains and found that they worked in treating their medical condition.

Let’s take a look at some of them below. Try these strains out to see whether they have the same effect on you.

It’s always better to start with low doses than high doses. Weed strains with higher levels of CBD and THC may not be as effective as lower levels of CBD and THC, especially for beginners. Start off with a small dose and work your way up.

#1. Granddaddy Purp

One of the most common marijuana strains that is recommended for anxiety is Grandaddy Purp. This is an indica-dominant hybrid strain (75%) and is a cross between two even more popular indica strains: Purple Urkle and Big Bud.

This cannabis strain usually has a THC percentage around 20, and offers a sedative effect. It’s a popular choice for those who are looking for a marijuana strain that can alleviate pain, calm racing thoughts and relax muscles. It’s also a popular choice for those struggling with insomnia.

Granddaddy purp has a super sweet grape flavor with a pungent aftertaste. The fruity flavour overwhelms the gassy notes upon inhale, but the pungent taste lingers behind after the exhale.

This strain, however, is often associated with dry mouth and eyes, so make sure that you have a lot of water nearby when you smoke it up.

#2. Jack Herer

Although Jack Herer is a THC-dominant strain, it’s another popular marijuana strain that’s highly recommended for treating anxiety. It’s definitely a wake and bake type of strain that you’d probably want to start the day off with. Jack Herer has peppery terpenes, but it will uplift your mood and make you feel extremely blissful.

The best thing about this kush strain is that it is rather popular. You should be able to find this strain online at many different online dispensaries.

Although many people with anxiety have recommended Jack Herer, this is definitely one of those strains that you should exercise caution with. Go with a lower dose first. This is because this strain does have some psychoactive properties, so it may also flood your mind with anxious thoughts if you smoke too much.

#3. Kosher Kush

Kosher kush is a tricky one. If you look at the THC and CBD levels in this strain, you might not think that it’s a medical cannabis strain for anxiety; however, many studies have actually looked at kosher kush specifically and found that it works as an anti-anxiety treatment option.

This is probably because this strain contains high levels of the terpene trans-nerolidol despite its high THC amount. Trans-nerolidol is a strong aromatic compound that is commonly used to treat anxiety and stress. It’s often found in plants like lemongrass and jasmine.

This weed strain also contains other useful terpenes like myrcene, limonene and b-caryophyllene. These terpenes have anti-anxiety properties.

#4. Charlotte’s Web

One of the most popular medical marijuana strains out there is Charlotte’s Web. This is one of the best-known high-CBD strains that contain little to no THC. It’s used in many different types of health and wellness products and will do an excellent job at alleviating symptoms of anxiety and stress as well.

If you look at online reviews, you’ll notice that this strain has helped many people get over their anxiety. The high is extremely clear headed, so those who smoke this medical marijuana strain can easily go about their day without experiencing any psychoactive effects.

This bud tastes dank and piney. It also has some light floral notes in it.

#5. Harlequin

Finding good Charlotte’s Web can be rather difficult. You’ll have a much easier time looking for other high CBD strains. Harlequin is a sativa marijuana strain that’s also known for its high CBD content. The high for this is just like the high that you’d experience with Charlotte’s Web (very clear headed), making this another awesome strain to try if you’re looking for something to ease your anxiety.

This strain is better suited for those who prefer fruity flavours, as the taste is more of an earthy musk mixed with a sweet mango. Harlequin is not only great at alleviating symptoms of anxiety, but it’s also great for treating pain, stress, depression and inflammation. Those who smoke this kush often feel very happy, uplifted and focused afterwards.

Do THC Carts Go Bad?

Much like with marijuana flowers, THC carts don’t last forever. Many pot smokers may be under the misconception that their vape cartridges last forever, regardless of whether they’re made from live resin, honey oil or d9 distillate.

If you’ve ever found an old, iffy looking vape pen at the back of your drawer and wondered whether you should give it a shot or not, you should read this article. We’ll provide you with some information on what happens to the cannabinoids that are inside the vape pen.

Buy THC carts and weed online

Why Some Potheads Think that Vape Pens Last Forever

If you’ve ever been told that you should load up on vape pens because they last forever, you should really dissect the science behind this misconception. The theory behind why even some of the most seasoned marijuana smokers think that vape pens last forever makes sense.

You can smoke old weed, and you’ll usually be in the clear (as long as there’s no mold or mildew), so technically, you can smoke old vape pens. If you think about it, cannabis becomes old and unsmokable because it’s exposed to light and air. The bud gradually loses its flavour and potency.

Unlike marijuana, vape oil or thc oil suspends cannabinoids and even terpenes in the hash oil. It also doesn’t “dry out” like weed, and trichomes cannot fall off the leaves or the bud. Terpenes are also trapped within the oil and cannot evaporate. It’s protected from the open air.

Due to these reasons, many smokers think that vape pens are immortal. Vape pens do have a longer shelf-life than cannabis flowers; however, they don’t last forever. They too can “go bad”, and you should consider throwing them out.

THC in Vape Cartridges Degrade with Time

The thc in cannabis cartridges can actually degrade over time. The cannabis oil is made of complex lipid chains. The bonds connecting these lipid chains are not the strongest, and while the cannabis vape oil can retain the potency of the THC and cannabinoids for a longer time compared to a gram of bud, the components will still degrade with time.

The molecular bonds will eventually break, especially if the oi is heated regularly by the plate that’s in the battery. Heat will speed up degradation, and the act of vaping cannabis will expose the weed oil to air.

The THC molecules are going to eventually break down into CBN. There’s nothing that you can do to stop this from happening although you can prevent this from happening prematurely. There are several factors that will cause THC to break down into CBN. The main factor, however, when it comes to dank vapes is heat.

The heat isn’t just from using the black market THC cartridges. It’s also from something like heat from being left on the dashboard of a car on a hot, summer day or from body heat if you tend to carry these cannabis carts in your pockets.

Other than heat, light that penetrates the cartridges will also cause premature degradation. Vape carts have glass exteriors that allow ultraviolet light to easily penetrate in and turn psychoactive THC into CBN.

The Difference Between CBN and CBD

CBN is not the same thing as CBD. In fact, it’s quite different. CBN stands for cannabinol while CBD stands for cannabidiol.

These are two different types of cannabinoids that are found in cannabis plants. They are pretty similar to each other and share some medicinal properties, but they also vary in their effects, how they’re produced and how they interact with the human body.

CBN is a naturally occurring cannabinoid that is produced when THC or CBD is oxidized. Unlike tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), CBN does not produce any intoxicating effects at all. CBN, combined with THC, produces more of a sedated couch lock high, and strains with a lot of CBN are recommended for those who are looking to relax. CBN also has anti-inflammatory and anti-convulsant properties.

CBD, on the other hand, is a non-intoxicating cannabinoid that is made in hemp plants. The amount of CBD that’s found in plants will depend on genetics, not environmental factors.

CBD can tone down the effects of THC, like paranoia or anxiety, while CBN is more of a gentle sedative. They’re not the same thing at all. CBN does not tone down the effects of THC.

How to Tell if a Vape Cartridge Has Gone Bad

If you’ve found a really old vape cartridge behind a drawer or lying around on your shelf, should you still use it? How do you know if it’s gone bad or not?

The good news is that vaping an old weed cartridge will not likely cause any serious health risk, as long as you’ve purchased the vape pen from a reputable company. It’s usually not recommended because the product might be a bit more harsh or the taste may be a bit off. Depending on how long the THC has been exposed to heat and air, it may also not be as potent.

If there’s a lot of CBN in the vape cart, some smokers will find that they can get really sleepy from vaping, without experiencing any psychoactive effects.

The first sign that a cartridge has gone bad is if you notice that it doesn’t look the same as before. The viscosity may have changed, or even the clarity. You might notice that the product is not as clear as before. Or, that the color of the oil inside has changed to a darker color.

In general, you should stay away from any THC carts that are dark brown. These pre-filled THC carts are way past their prime and should be tossed out. You should also avoid any thc oil that looks sludgy or really cloudy.

The second sign that you should look for is the taste. If everything looks okay, but the vapor tastes bitter or sour, it may be a sign that the oil is breaking down.

How to Properly Store Cannabis THC Carts

If you’re recently purchased a weed cartridge from us, you’ll want to read up on how to properly store and care for your new carts. If you put some thought and care into it, your carts can last for a really long time without losing any potency or flavour.

You’ll get the most bang for your buck, and even if you find an old cart at the back of your drawer, you’ll likely be able to enjoy it instead of having to toss it out!

How Long Does a Vape THC Cart Last?

The main question is how long can vape carts last? In general, we recommend that you keep vape carts for 6 months to a year. After that, you can expect the cannabis carts to lose some potency.

How long the carts last will also depend on how you’re storing them. If you make sure that you keep the thc carts out of sunlight and away from heat, they’ll retain their flavour and potency for a longer time. You’ll be able to vape it even a year after buying it and still find that it’s just as flavourful and potent as the day that you got it.

How to Handle and Store D9 Distillate

Upon receiving your jar of d9 distillate form us, you’ll notice that the distillate is quite viscous and hard. It’ll be thicker in consistency than honey or syrup (but just as sticky!). If you try to stick a spoon into the distillate, you’ll be met with some force.

To work with and handle the d9 distillate, you’re going to need to heat it up first. You can do this in several ways. You can:

  • Fill a crock-pot with water and let the distillate sit for about 15 to 20 minutes in warm (semi-hot) water. The hot water bath will heat up the distillate without damaging any of the cannabinoids.
  • Use a hot plate. Make sure that you place the d9 distillate on a plate that isn’t hotter than 90 to 100 degrees Celsius. Any hotter and the distillate may burn, and you’ll lose some precious cannabinoids.
  • Use a hair dryer. You can also try using a hair dryer. Make sure that you keep the hair dryer at a comfortable distance away and to use a sweeping motion. You want to avoid concentrating heat in one area.

Although d9 distillate doesn’t crystallize, CBD distillate may crystallize. If this happens, you can warm up the distillate in the same way to avoid damaging the cannabinoids.

Using a Heat Gun to Warm Up Distillate

Some people recommend using a heat gun to warm up d9 distillate. You can try doing this, but you’ll need to be very cautious.

Heat gun temperatures can reach over 500 degrees Celsius. This temperature is way too hot for distillate and can damage your cannabinoids. You’ll want to use a sweeping motion when heating up the distillate with a heat gun. Also, make sure to keep the heat gun at a distance.

How to Store D9 Distillate

Store d9 distillate in airtight glass jars away from sunlight. You’ll get all of your d9 distillate from us in glass containers, and we highly recommend that you keep them in there. The reason being that you’re probably going to heat up your distillate later on.

If the distillate is stored in a plastic container, it won’t be safe to heat up. If you use plastic, the plastic could melt into the distillate, creating a safety hazard.

Some people also keep their distillate in stainless steel jars as well. Although stainless steel isn’t a bad option, we prefer glass, as it is easier to work with. You might want to choose a glass jar that’s blacked out to prevent any UV radiation from entering the container.

Keep the distillate at room temperature, and preferably, in a place that’s away from sunlight. Sunlight can degrade the distillate.

5 Factors to Look for in a Weedman Online

Our Products

If you buy weed from a local dispensary or weedman, you might notice that an eighth of weed is quite expensive. If you need medical marijuana to help you out with pain or anxiety, you’d have to dedicate a large part of your budget to cannabis.

When you’re buying cannabis from a plug or dealer, you might have to deal with poor customer service. Are you sick of waiting for your plug to show up? Or, does your weed dealer simply not have enough variety in stock?

All of your problems can be solved by looking for a weedman online. There are so many online dispensaries out there, and you can easily buy weed online from the comfort of your own home. In fact, you don’t even need to leave your front door to get the weed delivered. Your mailman will literally bring your package to you!

Finding a good weedman online can be rather difficult at times because there are so many choices. Here are 5 factors that you should consider looking at.

#1. Variety of Products

One of the main reasons why so many people love to buy weed online from a weedman is because there is a lot of variety to choose from. Unlike with a plug or a dealer, online dispensaries will usually have tens of different indica strains, sativa strains and hybrid strains for you to choose from. You also get to choose the grade that you’d prefer. For example, you can specifically look for budget buds if you don’t have a lot of funds to spend on medical marijuana.

If you don’t care about bag appeal, you might want to go for budget buds. However, if quality and appearance is everything to you, you’d probably want to go for craft cannabis AAAA strains.

Other than dank cannabis, you also want to look for other cannabis-related products. This includes cannabis concentrates, like shatter, live resin and budder, vape pens, like distillate, honey oil and live resin, and edibles, like gummies, cookies and brownies. There’s just so many options online. You won’t be able to find a lot of these products at a local dispensary.

The dosage for edibles online is also a lot higher! Because of this, you won’t need to take as many edibles to get high.

Many online dispensaries will have additional products for you to choose from. For example, we also carry psilocybin for those who are looking to microdose. Psilocybin is effective in treating anxiety and depression.

#2. Reasonable Prices

Other than variety, you really need to consider the pricing. Do you want budget buds or craft cannabis strains? Regardless of what you want, you’ll usually find that the prices are much more reasonable from an online dispensary than from a local dispensary. For example, most local dispensaries charge about $60 to 70 for a quarter of weed, weed prices are much lower with a weedman online.

This is probably for a good reason. With an online weedman, you can get purchase in bulk. This will bring down the price of the kush down substantially, and you’ll be able to get a quarter pound of weed or even a pound at almost wholesale price!

If you’re purchasing with a friend, you could get some really good deals. However, even if you don’t buy in bulk, you can also find a lot of really good deals with just our normal inventory. For example, when it comes to edibles, you’ll be able to find cheaper cannabis edibles online. You’ll also find that these edibles are more likely to be a higher dosage, so you’re definitely getting a better deal.

Medical marijuana patients should also consider purchasing Rick Simpson Oil (RSO) online. The capsules are much cheaper!

#3. Responsive Customer Service Team

If something is to go wrong, you’d definitely want to make sure that you get an answer as soon as possible. Although we definitely do not recommend messaging the customer service team for no reason (it’ll flood their inbox), make sure that you do message them first if you do have a problem or a question.

From our experience, a responsive customer service team will reply to you within 24 hours, and they’ll also do their best to help you answer any questions that you may have. If you have any questions, feel free to email us from our contact form to the right of this page. One of our representatives will be able to get back to you as soon as possible.

If you’re looking for input from not just us, but from other customers, feel free to join our discord! You can discuss what works for you and what doesn’t — as well as which orders you were happy and unhappy with! Here, at CannabudPost, we aim to create an inclusive community for marijuana users.

#4. Shipping and Processing Times

No one wants to — and no one should — have to wait a long time to get their weed. After all, this is an organic product, so it shouldn’t sit in the scorching sun for too long. You definitely want to find a weedman that has quick shipping and processing times.

In our opinion, products should be shipped out within one business day. They also should not be left at the post office over the weekends. As a result, if you place an order with us and pay it before 10 AM PST, we will ship it out that day. On the other hand, if you place an order after 10 AM PST, we will ship it out the next business day.

We do not ship products over the weekend, as it’ll only sit at the post office. Therefore, if you place your order at 11 AM PST on a Friday, expect your products to be shipped out on Monday.

Furthermore, it’s also important to keep in mind that Canada Post does not open on long weekends or on holidays. Because of this, if it’s a long weekend and you place your order at 11 AM PST on a Thursday, expect your order to go out on a Tuesday.

Buy weed online from a weedman who stores your buds properly with boveda packs

Where Is My Order Stored?

Shipping conditions can absolutely ruin weed and marijuana-related products, like concentrates and edibles. Due to this reason, we store all of our products at a temperature-controlled facility. All of our cannabis is stored with Boveda packs in air-sealed jars and containers. Similarly, all of our edibles are stored in fridges and cool environments.

#5. Overall Reputation of the Weedman

Last but not least, you’re going to want to consider the overall reputation of the weedman. Look at online reviews to see what other people have thought about this company. If you search up CannabudPost reviews, you should easily find reviews on us! You can also join our discord group to talk to our customer service rep and some of our past and current clients.

We can guide you towards cannabis strains that might be best suited for your needs. We have cannabis for anxiety, weed for insomnia and marijuana for pain. Our customers service reps can walk you through the pros and cons of different types of concentrates and help you find an edible dosage that works for you.

More importantly, you want to look for negative reviews and how the company responded to the complaint. Were they reasonable or did they leave the customer hanging?

A Quick Tip on Reviews on the Site

Here, at CannabudPost, we do not censor any reviews. Good or bad, you're going to see them. With that said, you need to realize that not all online dispensaries do this, so don't rely too heavily on website reviews.

Another thing that you should note is that not all reviews are going to be accurate. Some websites attract more favourable reviews. For example, they may offer credit for positive reviews only, and this might drive a lot of customers to post positive reviews on the site.

On the other hand, unhappy customers are more likely to complain. For every negative review that you’ve read, there were probably a hundred happy customers who liked the product!

Let CannabudPost Be Your Online Weedman

If you’re looking to buy weed online and for a reputable weedman, give CannabudPost a try! We’re one of the top online weed dispensaries in Canada. We offer free XpressPost shipping on all orders over $99, so you’ll usually get your order within 2 to 4 business days. (Keep in mind that some customers are experiencing delays due to COVID-19 and general CanadaPost delays, and that we do not guarantee delivery times.)

We offer a wide range of products and deals, like a mix and match quarter pound of weed bundle for just $460! However, if you’re feeling hesitant about trying an online weedman, try out our sample pack for $50. You’ll get 7 grams of an assortment of weed for just $50!

You can also try our monthly featured deal, which is one of our most popular bundles. With the monthly featured deal, you get four quarters of AAA to AAAA weed for just $160!

If this is your first time buying weed online, check out our FAQ to learn more about the different processes involved. On top of that, if you have any further questions or concerns, feel free to reach out to our customer service team and they’d be happy to get back to you within 24 hours.

Are Black Market THC Carts Safe?

One of the best ways to smoke cannabis discreetly is to use a THC cart. There are THC carts and black market THC carts. Black market THC carts are not from your local medical marijuana dispensary. They were recently on the news for being a possible culprit for respiratory illnesses and lung injury, so many people may feel that they are unsafe.

But, are black market THC carts really unsafe? And, are there any benefits in purchasing vape products online or looking into adding some dank vapes into your checkout cart when you buy weed online? Let’s explore this issue below.

What Are Some Benefits of Purchasing Black Market THC Carts?

First things first, one of the main reasons why so many people are looking at purchasing black market vape carts is because of the price. If we take a look at the Ontario Cannabis Store (OCS), you’ll find that you’d be paying about $55 per 1 gram of distillate. These distillate carts contain as little as 70% THC and up to a proclaimed 86%.

That’s a horrible deal. An average user will finish this cart in 2 to 3 days. If you plan on using these carts instead of medical marijuana, you’d need a budget of about $825. That’s simply not affordable for those who are using weed as medicine and rely on medical cannabis regularly.

The next reason why many people are interested in purchasing vape pens from the illicit market is because of quality. At 70% THC, the distillate likely contains a lot of impurities. The company also probably uses some type of filler to make the black market THC vape cartridges less viscous and more runny.

Last but not least, there are limited flavour options at your local dispensary. They might only have several flavours available. If you choose to buy  cannabis products online, you have access to a much larger inventory.

What to Look For When Purchasing Vape Pens Online

Although there are many benefits of purchasing dank vapes online, many people are hesitant to purchase cannabis products from an online dispensary because they don’t want to end up with a poor product that might give them lung illness.

So, how do you get a quality product while ensuring that you won’t get a single vaping-related lung injury? Let’s take a look at some of the things that you should look for.

Our THC Carts

#1. A Reputable Company

Always do your research before buying weed online or any cannabis-related products. You want to make sure that you’re buying from a company that’s been around for some time and has a happy customer base. You can do this by searching up ‘CannabudPost reviews’ online to see what other people have said about us.

Although online reviews on the dispensary’s site can provide you with some information on the product, it’s important to note that these reviews can be doctored. Here, at CannabudPost, we pride ourselves in offering complete transparency, so this isn’t something that we do.

But if you don’t know us? How would you know?! That’s why we highly encourage that you check out our reviews online to see what other people have said.

#2. Look for Lab Reports

The truth of the matter is that most online dispensaries have strict grading requirements (perhaps more so than the government which requires that weed be radiated before being put on shelves). Here, at CannabudPost, all of our vape pens — or the distillate at least — have lab reports.

For example, our Honey Extracts vape pens contain distillate that come back with 93% THC.

Lab Reports will look at THC and CBD levels, as well as cannabinoids and terpenes

About 8% of plant-based terpenes are added back to the distillate for flavour, which means that the vape pens have about 85.56% THC.

That’s quite high in comparison to the 70% THC that you’d see at some local dispensaries. Most importantly, these carts are priced at $38. Compared to $55, that’s 30% cheaper!

These vape pens will also offer a more potent high.

There are no fillers added to the thc oil, so you won’t have to worry about vitamin e oil or vitamin e acetate. These ingredients are responsible for the lung injuries that we hear about on the news!

#3. A Popular Brand

If you see a popular brand that you’ve already tried elsewhere or that you’ve heard a lot about, then you’re most likely going to be in good hands. Many vape companies have built up a good reputation and will not jeopardize it by adding any type of fillers. They’re going to make sure that you have a quality product that comes from high-quality weed and not budget buds.

#4. The Viscosity of the Distillate

The distillate should not be too runny at all. Although runny distillate is easy to smoke because it shouldn’t move around too much, viscous distillate is higher in quality.

If you can, do the bubble test. Pens that pass the bubble test (which is when the bubble doesn’t move much or easily when you tilt the cart) tend to be higher in quality. These types of THC carts are harder to work with because you might need to use a hair dryer or some warm water to make the distillate runnier.

With that note, if it’s runny, it doesn’t mean that the vape pens are poor quality. The manufacturer may have simply added some type of base liquid to make it easier to work with. This will, however, slightly reduce the potency of the marijuana cartridges.

#5. The Color of the Distillate

The color doesn’t always mean anything, but you want to look for distillate vape pens that are clear and free of impurities. You also want to look for distillate that’s a nice yellow or amber color.

Anything that’s green in it has impurities. You also want to avoid distillate that’s dark. In general, a clear gold or golden-yellow color is what you should look for.

Types of Cannabis Vape Pens

When purchasing vape pens online, you have a lot more options to choose from. The OCS mainly offers distillate, but this isn’t the only option. Distillate is essentially an extract of delta-8 or delta-9.

When it comes to vape carts, most brands will use delta-9. It’s a cannabinoid that comes from weed. It’s responsible for the high feeling that you get when you smoke cannabis.

Distillate offers a one-dimensional high. It doesn’t contain many other cannabinoids, so you’re not likely to get any entourage effect from this type of cannabis extract at all.

Other than distillate, two other popular options include:

  • Honey oil, which is basically an extract of all of the cannabinoids that come from cannabis. This type of cannabis concentrate will give you the full profile of the marijuana. It’s typically a bit cheaper than live resin, which we talk about below. The potency is not as strong as distillate, but it gives you the entourage effect because you’re experiencing the true weed profile. You get a more well-rounded high. .
  • Live resin, which is an extract made from squishing flash frozen cannabis. This type of vape pen is usually a bit more expensive than distillate carts, but the flavour is much more potent. Like honey oil, you also get a very well-rounded high with this type of vape cart.

There are many other types of vape pens that are coming up in the market. For example, rosin pens are becoming popular as well.

CannabudPost Has a Large Selection of Vape Pens

If you’re looking for vape pens, we have what you’re looking for. We not only carry a lot of popular brands on the market, but we also offer great prices on a selection of products.

Our 3 carts for $110 bundle is a huge hit because of its affordability. You’re essentially getting each pen for $36.66. This price also includes shipping (we offer free XpressPost shipping on all orders over $99) and tax.

If you have any questions about the pens that we carry, feel free to reach out to our customer representatives. They’re available 24 hours a day, but please give them at least 24 hours to respond due to the large volume of emails that we receive on a daily basis.

Benefits of Choosing an Online Dispensary, No Card Needed

Are you looking to buy top shelf weed from an online dispensary, but would also like to maintain your privacy? Not everyone wants their personal information out there when they buy weed online, and that’s okay because some mail order marijuana (MOM) companies do not require any type of medical card or government ID.

There are, of course, some that do though. They’ll either require you to send your entire ID with no information blacked out or they’ll let you black out some information (like the card number or information like your weight).

If you have the option of choosing between the two, most people would recommend going with a mail order marijuana (MOM) shop that doesn’t require ID. But, what are the benefits of choosing an online dispensary, no card needed? Let’s take a look below.

#1. You Don’t Have to Wait for Any Approvals

Waiting for your account to be approved can seem like the longest several days of your life. If the online dispensary is super busy, it can even take weeks for your account to be approved. You might miss out on crazy sales or even on strains that you can’t find at your local dispensary. It’s not unusual for many online dispensaries to stock one specific strain only once and you’ll never see it again!

#2. You Get to Maintain Your Privacy

That’s right. Although cannabis usage and consumption is no longer a taboo, you might not necessarily want your ID out there in the hands of people that you don’t know. You might also not want others to know that you smoke weed and if you shop at an online dispensary (no card needed), they believe that’s your right. You get to maintain your privacy by ordering to a flex delivery address, PO box and more.

There have been some major data breaches over the years, but with an online dispensary, you get to maintain your privacy. Online dispensaries that do require your ID may allow you to black out some information on your government ID, but not all of them do.

You also don’t have to worry that someone else behind the screen has access to your personal information. This also leads us to the next point…

#3. You Can Avoid Identity Fraud

Although most online dispensaries do have many protocols in place to prevent anyone from stealing your ID, this is a very real concern for some people. It’s always best to take preventative measures whenever possible. By choosing an online dispensary that accepts no ID, you can really rest assured that you won’t be a victim of identity fraud.

Quickly Buy Weed Online from CannabudPost

Free XpressPost shipping over $99, high quality products and great prices make CannabudPost stand out from many of the other online dispensaries out there. Cannabis Distillate: Difference Between Delta-8-THC and Delta-9-THC

If you’re looking for a cannabis product that packs a punch, you can’t go wrong with distillate. Cannabis distillate is not for the inexperienced. It has a potency that is close to nearly 99% compared to the 15 to 25% THC content that is often found in your average weed. Due to this reason, distillate is also a great tool for adding THC into edibles

This fact makes this delivered very appealing to many seasoned smokers and cannabis users. Best of all, there have been many advancements in the technologies used to make distillate. Nowadays, you can purchase clear and clean products with ease.

When purchasing weed distillate, you’ll notice that there are two different products on the market: delta-8-THC and delta-9-THC distillate. In general, delta-8-THC distillate looks clearer than delta-9-THC distillate.

But, is there a difference between the two?

The answer is yes. These two products have two very different therapeutic effects, which we will explore in this article.

A Close Up of Delta-8-THC

“An analogue of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) with antiemetic, anxiolytic, appetite-stimulating, analgesic, and neuroprotective properties. [Delta-8-THC] binds to the cannabinoid G-protein coupled receptor CB1, located in the central nervous system…This agent exhibits a lower psychotropic potency than [delta-9-THC], the primary form of THC found in cannabis.”

National Cancer Institute

Delta-8-THC and delta-9-thc are both psychoactive cannabinoids that can be found in almost all cannabis flowers. Delta-8-tetrahydrocannabinol, however, is found in lower quantities than its close cousin delta-9 THC, and also has a lower psychotropic potency.

Delta-8-THC is chemically different from delta-9-THC by just two atomic bonds. Delta-8-THC has a double carbon on the 8th carbon chain while delta-9-THC has the double carbon on the 9th carbon chain.

Other than that, there really isn’t much of a difference. It’s basically like having the same model and make of a car but with slightly different headlights. To the regular Joe, this isn’t that interesting at all, and doesn’t really give you a good idea of the differences between delta 8 distillate and delta 9 distillate, especially since both types of distillate will interact with your body’s endocannabinoid system and the CB1 receptor.

An interesting thing is that delta 8 THC is found only in small quantities naturally. However, thanks to advancements in technology, you can now purchase distillate syringes that contain only distillate 8 THC.

How Does Delta 8 Distillate Feel Like?

Most people are familiar with how delta-9-THC distillate feels like. This compound will give you a psychoactive head high. Delta-8-THC, on the other hand, is like the much quieter cousin. It will still get you stoned, but the effects are quite different.

Delta-8-THC will give you more of a happy, clear-headed feeling that comes with zero anxiety and fogginess. Those who take this type of distillate tend to feel more in tune with their environment and less impaired.

“For me, the [distillate] delivered a semi-sedative physical sensation without much whimsical mental stimulation. The distillate’s pervasive effects cascaded over my body while imbuing me with a classic “stoned” contentment. The appetite stimulation was apparent, but never fully manifested as hunger. This might be partially due to delta-8-THC’s anti-nausea qualities...”

Due to this reason, delta 8 THC is highly recommended for those who still plan on carrying out some errands. In fact, this is a very popular cannabinoid for those who want to go on a hike. This cannabinoid will help them feel more happy and in tune with the environment, as well as the activity that they are engaging in. It gives users a calm focus.

If you’re looking for a more psychoactive head high, you might want to consider our delta-9-THC distillate syringes. This product will give you a more powerful punch than smoking weed. It’s essentially the same as smoking some very strong and potent cannabis. Expect psychoactive effects and to even be knocked out!

How Is Delta-8-Tetrahydrocannabinol Made?

Cannabis distillate is cannabinoids that have been extracted from marijuana buds.

So, how is it possible to extract this cannabinoid when there are such small amounts found in cannabis flowers (most cured weed contains less than 1% delta-8-THC!)?

Professionals now use a thin film distillation, or fractional distillation, of cannabis weed and tri. Using various temperatures, vacuums and equipment, they are able to extract pure delta-8-THC. They’re also able to convert delta-9 THC over to delta-8 THC. Using this process, they are able to purify and isolate specific cannabinoids that are useful to the human body. They’re also able to use this method to remove any impurities and undesirable compounds.

To further confirm that the extraction process has extracted all the compounds that we want and nothing else, most professionals then run lab tests on the extraction. All of the distillate products sold on CannabudPost are lab tested.

The Therapeutic Effects of Delta 8 THC

Those who are using cannabis for medical purposes tend to favor delta-8-THC over delta-9-THC. At the very least, they will want to have some delta-8-THC in their arsenal of tools due to its effectiveness and potential therapeutic properties. Delta 8 THC can be used to treat the following symptoms:

  • Pain
  • Lack of appetite
  • Nausea
  • Anxiety
  • Depression

Benefits of taking delta-8

Studies have shown that very low doses of delta-8-thc can do wonders for the human body. It can help treat a lack of appetite, nausea, anxiety and other issues. It’s a great alternative for those who can’t seem to handle the intensity of delta-9-thc distillate.

Delta-8-THC distillate is also a great treatment for those who are going through chemotherapy. This compound connects to both the CB1 and CB2 receptors in the body.

In 1995, a doctor named Dr. Raphael Mechoulam conducted a study on the effects of delta-8 THC. He administered low doses of this compound to eight children between the ages of 3 to 13 who were being treated with drugs and chemotherapy for cancer. He found that the delta-8-THC treatments would work within 2 hours and was able to prevent many unwanted side effects, like nausea. There were negligible side effects associated with consuming delta-8-THC.

This study has been referenced many times in other studies, as delta-8-THC distillate can be used to treat a wide variety of illnesses and conditions.

Are There Any Terpenes in Distillate?

If we’re talking about distillate by itself, then no. The end product should have no measurable amount of terpene in it. The terps are usually boiled off during the extraction process.

With that said, if you’re buying a distillate vape pen, then the answer is yet. Most manufacturers will re-introduce terpenes back into the distillate. The most common terpenes used are cannabis-derived terpenes, which will give you more of an entourage effect, plant-based terpenes, which come from other plants like limes and lemons, and synthetic-terpenes, which are made in labs. By adding terpenes back into the distillate, consumers will get a more enjoyable user experience.

Where Can I Buy Delta-8-THC Distillate?

If you’re looking for delta-8-THC distillate syringes, you’ll find what you’re looking for here, at CannabudPost. We offer 1,000 mg distillate syringes that contain all of that good stuff. If you are just starting off, you may want to add only a little bit — even 10mg of delta-8-THC can go a long way for new and inexperienced cannabis smokers or marijuana users.

A Complete Guide on How to Buy Weed Online

If you’re sick of the lackluster selection and the quality of the weed at local dispensaries, you’re in for a treat with online cannabis dispensaries. You’ll find better deals, more coupons and higher quality cannabis strains that range from AA to AAAA.

Buying weed online is the newest craze. You’ll easily get higher quality products shipped right to your doorstep. You don’t even have to leave your home during this COVID-19 pandemic at all!

CannabudPost is a reputable online dispensary in Vancouver. Our goal is to provide you with top notch products at affordable prices! We even offer a loyalty program for those who want to enjoy further savings.

How to Buy Weed Online

There are many reasons why many people will choose to buy weed online rather than at a local dispensary. It’s super easy and quick. Other than an internet connection, here’s what you’ll need:

  • E-interac (linked to a Canadian bank account)
  • An email address
  • An address in Canada to ship to

So, once you have those things handy, you can pop on over to our shop page and begin going through products. We have a large selection of weed strains, which are either indicas, sativas and hybrids. You’ll find edibles, like weed brownies and weed gummies as well.

Add the products that you are interested in to your cart. Make sure that you read over the descriptions because most online dispensaries offer no refunds. At the checkout page, fill in your Canadian address and your email address. You’ll be sent an email with payment instructions.

Use e-interac to make the payment, and you should receive a confirmation email shortly with your tracking information. When you buy weed online, you can usually expect to receive your order within 2 to 4 business days.

Can I Buy Weed Online with No ID?

Yes! For privacy purposes, most online dispensaries like CannabudPost will not ask you for ID. However, do keep in mind what the legal age is for your province. For example, the legal age of marijuana consumption is 18 years of age in Alberta and 19 years of age in British Columbia.

Can I Buy Weed Online in Canada with a Cash App?

The answer to that is no. Most online dispensaries in Canada will only accept e-interac payment unless you contact them and work something out. Some dispensaries may accept cash payments in mail; however, you’ll need to wait to get your ganja if that’s the case. Due to this reason, it’s always better to go with e-interac instead.

Benefits of Buying Weed Online in Canada

There’s a reason why so many people look for marijuana products online. It’s quick and easy and comes with so many advantages and very few drawbacks. Let’s take a look at some of the benefits of using an online dispensary below.

#1. Better Deals

If you’ve ever ventured into your local dispensary, you’re going to notice that you’re getting an ounce of mids for over $180. Let’s not even talk about a quarter pound of weed. First of all, you can’t buy such a large amount at a local dispensary, which means that you can’t take advantage of cheaper pricing that comes with bulk.

With an online dispensary, this is not a problem at all! You can get great prices and amazing deals. The price point for cannabis is definitely cheaper when you shop online. You’ll get a better bang for your buck.

Check back on special occasions and holidays and you might even coupons and promotions that will result in further savings!

Even without any coupons, you’ll still find some awesome weed deals. Let’s check out some of our deals below.

#2. High Quality

Finding the highest quality weed available can be difficult when the only place that you’re looking is your local dispensary. If you buy weed online you’ll be able to find some of the highest quality products out there that surpass the quality at local dispensaries.

Online dispensaries often carry weeds that have more terps, more trichomes, more THC and better bag appeal! A lot of the weed that you buy online will be higher quality than medical marijuana that you purchase at a local dispensary. This is especially true if you reside in a rural part of Canada (keep in mind that shipping times for these areas may be longer).

#3. More Selections

You’ll find more indica strains, more hybrid strains and more sativa strains when you shop online. Are you sick of the same two strains at your local dispensary? That’s never an issue when you buy weed online!

Mail order marijuana companies always have a revolving door of strains coming in and out. You can find some exotic cannabis strains with us, like G-Wiz or Jelly Breath! Even if you’re looking to purchase edibles, you’ll find more selections online. You can buy weed brownies, weed gummies and more with just a click of a button.

#4. Convenience

There’s absolutely nothing more convenient than shopping for weed online. When you buy marijuana online, you can chill at home (even in your bed!). You don’t need to leave your house and your kush gets shipped straight to your doorsteps! You can complete the entire shopping process in your pajamas.

We recommend placing an order when you’re about to run out, but still have a week worth of cannabis lying around in your home. This way, you never run out! (This may be particularly important for those who need medical marijuana to treat pain, anxiety or arthritis).

How to Get the Best Weed Deals Online

One of the best parts of shopping for cannabis online through an online cannabis dispensary is the affordable prices you’ll see. Gone are the days where you’re spending $40 to $50 on an eighth of weed. At an online dispensary, you can get an eighth of weed for less than $10 sometimes depending on the grade of the weed, whether there are any promotions and whether you are purchasing in bulk.

One of the reasons why online dispensaries in Canada can offer better weed deals is because they have lower overhead costs by not having a storefront and because they can sell in bulk. You’ll pay a fraction of the price for cannabis products online compared at a local dispensary.

Check out some of our tips and tricks on how to get the best weed deals from an online dispensary.

#1. Look for a First Time Customer Discount

Almost all online head shops have first time customer discounts and packages. This allows you to try out a new store with minimal risk. Here, at CannabudPost, we offer $20 off your first order without any minimum spend. All you have to do is input REF7612891 at the checkout page.

CannabudPost Coupon codes, cheap weed, weed promo codes, weed deals and more

#2. Look for CannabudPost Coupon Codes

Most online weed shops will offer some type of coupon code here and there. You can usually find Cannabudpost coupon codes, promo codes and codes on our homepage. We’ll also be creating a forum where we place all of our codes.

At this moment, we don’t really offer any weed and cannabis coupon codes.

#3. Shop During Holidays and Special Events

CannabudPost offers some type of saving or promo code during every holiday and special event, so make sure to check back regularly during these times. Common holidays where you’ll find a sale is Black Friday, Christmas, Boxing Day, New Years, 420, and Easter.

In the past, we’ve offered 20% off all items on the site and 5% off bundles. This is a great time to stock up, as you’ll be getting some buds on a budget.

#4. Refer a Friend

Do you have any friends who also buy weed online? Or, maybe, you’re excited to show your friends the benefits of buying weed online and would like to introduce them to the scene. One of the best ways for you to get great deals on cannabis is to refer a friend to our site. You can find your referral code at the dashboard.

For every friend that you refer, you will get $20 once they make a purchase. Best of all, you’ll be doing your friend a solid because they can also save $20 on their order!

Another great thing about our referral program is that you can stack up your referral points for referring a friend. So, let’s say you referred your friend Alex for $20 and your friend Bianca for another $20. You can combine the coupons that you get for both referrals and get $40 off your next order!

#5. Use Your Points

Don’t forget to use your points, which is part of our rewards system. For every $1 that you spend, you get 1 point. The conversion rate for points is approximately $10 for every 500 points, but you don’t have to cash out when you’ve reached 500. Our points system allows you to cash out however many points that you have. In fact, you can choose how many points you’d like to cash out.

Your points can be cashed out with referral coupons, holiday marijuana promo codes and any other special events that we have going on!

#6. Buy in Bulk

One way to get a great deal on kush is to buy in bulk. Bulk weed prices are always cheaper. You’ll also be doing the environment a big favor, as there’s less plastic involved. The quality of the bulk weed is equivalent to the quality that you’d get if you didn’t purchase in bulk.

The best way to make use of this is to combine your purchases with your friends. Do you have a friend who smokes an ounce of weed a month? If so, you can always order with a friend and then split the order afterwards. This is a great way to get more marijuana strain variety at a cheaper price.

If you’re willing to settle for AA+ weed, you can always take advantage of our Everyday Smoker Bundle, which gives you 2 ounces of weed for just $220! We offer free shipping on orders over $99 and taxes are included in the sale price!

Your points can be cashed out with referral coupons, holiday marijuana promo codes and any other special events that we have going on!

Is Distillate an Indica, Sativa or Hybrid?

The answer to that is it depends on what type of distillate you’re buying. You’re most likely looking at delta-8 or delta-9 distillate. In which case, it is neither an indica, sativa or a hybrid.

So, what is distillate? What type of cannabis is it made of and what type of marijuana is it?

Distillate is basically a type of cannabinoid that’s been extracted from marijuana. There are many compounds within ganja that give you that “high” that you’re looking for — whether it be a couchlock high or more cerebral effects.

Distillate is, in essence, just one of these compounds — either delta-8, which is known for having less psychotropic effects, and delta-9, which will give you a one dimensional high. So, it really doesn’t matter whether the distillate is extracted from sativa cannabis, indica marijuana strains or hybrid ganja strains. It’s all the same! You’re only getting one compound out of thousands!

Cannabis distillate is cannabinoids that have been extracted from marijuana buds.

Let’s Look at an Analogy

It’s basically like extracting caffeine from a pumpkin spice latte or a cookie crumble mocha. It doesn’t really matter what drink that you use to extract the caffeine from . At the end, what you’re getting is the caffeine. You’re not going to taste the pumpkin spice in the latte. It doesn’t matter whether the drink had regular milk, almond milk, coconut milk or soy milk. The only thing that you’re getting from it is the caffeine.

That’s the same with distillate; however, the compound that you’re getting is the compound that’s mainly used for pain relief — with delta-8 — and that high sensation in delta 9. So, it really doesn’t matter whether the manufacturer used a sativa or an indica strain. You also won’t get any indica effects or sativa effects from distillate syringes, pens or cartridges.

Why Do Some Brands Say Indica or Sativa?

By now, you’ve probably noticed that some distillate vape pens and cartridges have a flavour, like King Louis or Blackberry, as well as either indica, sativa or hybrid written on them. So, what does that mean?

If you get an indica pen, but really want a sativa one, will the distillate pen really give you indica effects? The answer to that is it depends on the type of terpenes (which are the flavours) that are added back to the pen for the flavoring.

Most distillate pens are made with artificial terpenes that are actually made from other plants. For example, limonene, which is basically the citrus taste that you get from Lemon Kush, can also be found in lemons, oranges, and other citrus fruits. If the terpenes are artificial, the limonene likely comes from these other plants. This doesn’t necessarily mean that the terpenes are not useful, but they’re not going to give you the natural entourage effects that you’re looking for. The effects that you experience will also depend on the type of terpenes that are added, as well as the concentration and ratio.

So, if you get an indica pen, but want a sativa one, you can likely still try it out because you’re likely not going to experience as well-rounded a high as you would from smoking indica cannabis (at least from my experience).

Some manufacturers do add cannabis-derived terpenes back in. You’ll have more natural entourage effects, as the terpenes that were extracted during the distillation are added back into the distilled delta-8 or delta-9 compound.

With that said, not many manufacturers will use cannabis-derived terpenes because they are much pricier. The extraction process is a lot more complicated, so it’s usually more economical for manufacturers to introduce plant-based terpenes to the distillate instead.

There’s also synthetic terpenes. These terpenes were made in a lab, and the difference between synthetic terpenes and natural terpenes is basically like eating a strawberry or eating strawberry-flavored items. You can tell that there’s a difference.

Our Cannabis Distillate Products

But, I NEED Something That Will Give Me True Indica or Sativa Effects!

Some consumers are simply more comfortable smoking indica strains if they prefer getting knocked out for the night or sativa strains if they’re just looking for something uplifting that will help them get through their chores.

As mentioned above, unless the distillate vape pen has real cannabis terpenes in them, you’re not getting an indica or sativa effects at all. You’re going to have the flavour of something that’s usually classified as an indica or a sativa, but the flavour actually comes from things like lavender, orange peels and other plants. These terpenes are found naturally in them as well!

To get something that will give you the entourage effects felt in indica or sativa cannabis strains, you’re better off trying either honey oil pens or live resin pens. They don’t have anything stripped from them. Instead, a large majority of the cannabinoids are stripped from the marijuana buds using different processes. Both options have their unique pros and cons, so we’d say that you should try them both out in order to see what works best for you.

Have Any Additional Questions About Distillate Vape Pens or Distillate Syringes?

If you have any additional questions or concerns, shoot us an email and one of our customer service reps will be more than happy to guide you through the process of choosing a vape pen or cartridge that works for you. Let us know what you’re looking for, what your budget is and any other information that you think may be useful in guiding us with helping you find a cannabis pen that will work for your needs!

Distillate is a great product for those looking to treat pain, nausea, anxiety and even stress. Although it may not be as hard-hitting as smoking an indica strain, like Mike Tyson, some consumers have also reported that it helps them with their insomnia. It’s important to remember that cannabinoids affect each individual differently.
